Clinging to God and Guns
Pastor Bennett was unable to be with us this week, so Lloyd is tackling this week's article on his own. In a piece for the Religion News Service, freelance journalist Tom Verde tries to suggest that carrying guns in church is supported by neither Scripture nor church tradition. He provides a series of bad historical examples, misinterprets or takes out of context a number of passages of Scripture, and ultimately fails to prove the point.
