She learned to hunt, track, and dress out game from her father as a child and became a huntress as a young, single-mother, hoping to turn her skills into full freezers for the price of a hunting license. She later began to lead guided hunts, when she met her husband, the owner of of Wolf Creek Outfitters. Mia is a blogger, a speaker, and instructor, a writer, and a mom, passing on her love of the great outdoors to her daughter, and encouraging women everywhere to take part in the great American tradition of hunting.
