Clinging to God and Guns

All too often, liberal Christian anti-gunners attempt to use Scripture to support gun control. These sources speak with authority, as pastors, professors, authors, and theologians. The uninformed may come across these opinions and, lacking the proper understanding of Scripture, believe that these viewpoints are valid and that, for example, Christ was a pacifist, killing under any circumstance is forbidden, or that Christ calls on us to lay down and take it when criminals kick down our doors. The idea behind this segment was to bring in called and ordained Lutheran pastors who could speak with authority about the truth of God's Word and debunk many of the pacifist myths that liberal Christians perpetrate in pursuit of their political agendas.
