Commentary: Why I Compete, and Why You Should Too
At the end of any sanctioned IDPA match, shooters rush to see their scores when they are posted. They crowd around the clubhouse bulletin board, fighting for a glimpse of their scores. I'm usually the last to go look. Why? Because, while it would be nice to win a trophy, that's not what I'm competing for. I'm never going to be a Master Class shooter, and I'm okay with that.
